Despite using the moniker ‘marketing’ in our solution set, we at Visiomente believe internet marketing is most effective when it fosters community-building and social interaction to pull people to your site and to keep them coming back. We use an array of Enterprise 2.0 solutions, such as blogs, wikis, twitter, and facebook, to get our clients socially active with customers. This social interaction creates interest, which creates loyalty, which generates business.
Despite the fact we use the moniker ‘marketing’ for this business area, this area is less so focused on traditional marketing: press releases, advertising, etc., and is more focused on how to build ‘tribe’s’ of believers and evangelists for companies using modern Web 2.0 and Enterprise 2.0 technologies (blogs, wiki’s, twitter, facebook, etc.)
